Veronica Corzo-Duchardt

Veronica Corzo-Duchardt is an award-winning queer Cuban-American visual artist, creative director, and designer living and working in Los Angeles, CA. Currently the Director of Design at the Lucas Museum, for over 20 years, they’ve focused on creating expressive, story-driven design work in the arts, culture, and media industry. They are an empathetic leader deeply invested in uplifting and empowering marginalized voices. Veronica’s career is centered on helping cultural and purpose-driven brands and organizations create products, campaigns, and experiences that provide genuine connections to underrepresented audiences in ways that have a felt impact and drive business goals. Veronica’s clients have included include Nike, Hyatt, the Smithsonian, Paramount, Adidas, MTV, Bitch Media, The Obama Foundation, and many others. Veronica received an MFA in Studio Art in 2008 and an MFA in Writing in 2009 from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Their work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including at the Museum of Contemporary Photography, Chicago, IL; Centro Pablo Cultural Center, Havana, Cuba; Public Works Gallery, Chicago, IL. Their prints and artist books are held in permanent collections at: the Newberry Library, Chicago, IL; the Joan Flasch Artist’s Book Collection, Chicago, IL; the Museum of Design Zürich, Switzerland.
