Eric Doversberger

Eric Doversberger is a manager and technology strategist on Google’s People Analytics team, with deep specialization in interactive data visualization. Eric’s work includes building reporting systems, researching and prototyping new data analysis techniques, and mapping Google’s internal social graph. Before joining Google in 2007, Eric was a NSF-funded researcher at the Mathematics Department of Brown University as well as a data analyst intern with the Vanguard Group. He has spoken about applied data visualization at Sundance, SXSW, Tribeca Film Institute, Stanford, and MIT. He has also been part of a Communications Briefing at the United Nations, providing resources and tactical tools in a presentation and workshop for the UN NGO Section. He has been a Technology Advisory Board Member for New Arts Axis and the Producers Institute for New Media Technologies, in addition to numerous independent media and social innovation projects funded by MacArthur Foundation and Tribeca New Media, including Map your World, AXS Map and Sparkwise. Eric earned his Masters in Management Information Systems in 2006 from Carnegie Mellon University and his Bachelors in Business and Film Studies from the University of Notre Dame in 2005.
