Regan Sommer McCoy

Regan Sommer McCoy is the founder of The Mixtape Museum and Hip-Hop Hacks. She is a non-profit arts administrator, music industry vet, and archive and database enthusiast, who is passionate about the interactions of hip-hop, technology, and education. Sommer is a Columbia University Community Scholar, a member and grantee of the Association for Recorded Sound Collections (ARSC), and a charter member of the William & Mary Hip-Hop Collection. She sits on the board of the Hip-Hop Association, is an advisor to the Universal Hip-Hop Museum and co-produces the Hip-Hop Can Save America podcast. By day she’s an Operations Manager in Education and Community Engagement at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.
