Map Your World is an open source data/mapping/storytelling platform that empowers youth around the world to make positive changes in their own communities. NAMAC will be working with Map Your World to develop a model of international collaboration in specific issue areas that align with UN priorities, and co-authoring issue-specific creative impact toolkits for NGOs, artists and technologists.

If you work with middle school and/or high school youth and want to incorporate technology-based storytelling into your curriculum, you can apply for a Nexus 7 tablets grant (thank you Google!) to help you launch a Map Your World initiative. The Map Your World team welcomes applications from schools, community organizations, after-school programs, and other organizations serving middle and high school students.
